Packaging
I wanted to find the best containers available for my creams and these tins and glass jars were exactly what I needed. Nothing used to irritate me more than buying a cream and paying a small fortune for a tiny container! Not only did I want generous sized containers but I also wanted to avoid any sort of plastics as they potentially contain harmful chemicals.
Both the tins and jars are solid and of food grade quality. This was very important to me as what you rub into your skin absorbs into your body and I didn't want the creams to be tainted by inferior packaging. When you finish with the cream both the tins and jars can be recycled or used as general purpose handy containers.
TIP: The tins are wonderful for taking away as they are so light and wont break.
The tins come in two sizes, medium and large:
Medium tin (100ml): Large tin (200ml):
Diameter 8cm (3.2inch) 10.2cm (4inch)
Depth 2.8cm (1.1inch) 3.3cm (1.4inch)
The glass jars come in one size (large) and have an aluminium screw cap lid. Dimensions with lid:
Large (200ml):
Diameter 9cm (3.5in)
Height 5.8cm (2.3inch)
For my organic jojoba oil, I use a 200ml aluminium bottles. The bottles come with aluminium screw cap and pump dispenser. The dimensions (without pump):
Height 14cm (5.6inches)
Width = 5cm (1.9inches).
